Hey, Is it just me, or is it anywhere I go, in cyprus, any game the comes with all the downloadable content, is actually cheaper than the original, and im not talking a few cents or euros im talking anywhere between 10-15 euros extra, for the same game, just without the bonuses.. Not that I'm complaining, just think its ridiculous. Anyone else noticed this? |

It would be more ridiculous if it would be more expensive don't you think? |

Well the prices are ridiculous at the moment anyway, but take Fallout 3 for example, I have been to Brent Cross, Micromania and Musical Paradise, and in each shop theyre selling the game for 65euros. And then right next to it on the shelf is Fallout 3: Game of the Year edition, which contains five extra downloadable content items, which if you download them all through Xbox Live comes to about $20, for 54euros. I'ts just crazy.. |

You could always get them off ebay. Buying games in Cyprus is expensive and it will never change. Only shop I know and hear from other people is Micromania that have pretty reasonable prices in most games. |

the reason the game of the year is cheaper is that it is offered to us cheaper than the original and if we are not told that the standard is to go down in price then the original doesn't go down unless someone notices the difference (its hard to keep track of everything) but if we (micromania) do notice it or customer points it out we will do something about it as we always try to do the best for our customers. |

Actually this is not only in Cyprus, I have noticed it in HMV and heathrow airport game shops. With the same game and others too. Usually the limited edition games are cheaper and come with extras for no added price. But collectors edition games are more expensive than limited/normal games... I wouldn't say that micromania is the problem as even though it's really far all my games come from there if not from steam as they are cheaper than any other crappy places. *cough* megaland *cough* |

Good points. But HMV fail at pricing, I found a Mirror's Edge game for 17.99pounds and behind it was another for 12.99, exactly the same... So i got it for 12.99 |

Hehe yeah but you can find good deals for buying a game and getting any other one free or with discount... That 13 pound one possibly was part of an offer and they just didnt bother changing it. |

its demand/ sales....Fallout 3 is a popular game so the price won't drop for about another 6 months-year...If you check to buy fifa its ridiculously low now...about 20 bucks now? |

Whilst multiplayers tend to keep the mind occupied, it can get boring after a while, such as MW2, the amount of players playing the game have halved, then halved again. Although they do contain endless amounts of entertainment, a well thought-out single-player can produce a lot more fun, as long as the story lasts, and even little side-quests to add hundreds of hours of gameplay. Games such as Oblivion, Fallout, Bioshock and others all show this. |
